By creating a Flewa account or using the Flewa application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Flewa.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on your own behalf or on behalf of a business.
Flewa is operated by BITWAVE TECHNOLOGY & ENGINEERING LIMITED, Nigeria.
Flewa is an invoicing and payment-collection tool for freelancers and small service providers. It helps you create invoices, share payment links, and track whether invoices have been viewed and paid.
Flewa is not:
Payment processing is provided by third-party processors (Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe). Payments are subject to the terms and policies of whichever provider handles a given transaction.
Accuracy. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep it up to date.
Security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and account. Notify us immediately at hello@flewa.org if you become aware of any unauthorised access.
One account per person. You may not create multiple accounts for the same individual or business.
Suspension and termination. We may suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
Ownership. You retain full ownership of all content you create within Flewa — your business profile, invoices, client contacts, and logos.
Licence to us. By using Flewa you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the service.

Subscription. Flewa is offered on a subscription basis with a free trial period. Paid plans (such as Starter and Pro) are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play according to their terms. Prices, billing intervals, and plan limits are shown in the app before you subscribe.
Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Provider fees.Payment providers (Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe) charge their own processing fees on the payments your clients make. These are separate from your Flewa subscription and are disclosed at payment initiation. Flewa does not take a cut of your clients' payments.
Payouts.Client payments are settled to your registered payout account according to the payment provider's schedule. Flewa does not hold funds.
Refunds. Subscription refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their respective policies. Refunds and disputes on client payments are handled by the relevant payment provider.
Failed payments.Flewa is not liable for failed or declined payments caused by the payment provider, your client's bank, or incorrect account details.
By adding a bank account or Stripe Connect account, you confirm that the account belongs to you or your authorised business, and you agree to the terms of the relevant payment provider.
Flewa stores your payout account details securely and uses them solely to configure payment settlement. We do not initiate withdrawals without your authorisation.
Flewa can send automated reminder emails to your clients on your behalf. By enabling reminders, you accept responsibility for the communications sent. You agree not to use the reminder feature in a way that constitutes spam or harassment.
We aim to keep Flewa available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or apply updates without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss caused by service unavailability.
The Flewa name, logo, interface, and code are the intellectual property of BITWAVE TECHNOLOGY & ENGINEERING LIMITED. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property.
"As is" service. Flewa is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
No guarantee of results. We do not guarantee that your clients will pay, that payment links will be processed successfully, or that emails will be delivered.
Limitation. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Flewa is limited to the total subscription fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
No indirect damages. We are not liable for lost profits, lost income, loss of data, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
How we collect, use, and protect your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Flewa you agree to our data practices as described there.
Flewa integrates with third-party services (Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe, Resend, Cloudinary, Expo). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.
By you. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
By us. We may terminate your account for violations of these Terms. Where reasonably possible, we will give you advance notice. For serious violations (fraud, illegal activity), we may terminate without notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
